This painting is Ruby Gem by Nora Kasten. From the first moment that I saw it I loved it. My son says it is because the colours are rather peacock feather-like but I think it is the golds that get me. Nora Kasten's art is gorgeous - please check out her blog!
I am still trying to figure my way around on here and am not even sure my blog posts go anywhere but in time it will all make sense and I will know how to follow other blogs as well. In the meantime, I paint, play at Polyvore and try to win at Scrabble with friends on Facebook. Add in animals and kids (mostly grown now) and life is never boring!
